Manuscripts, miscellaneous papers of the lawyer and teacher of Fluvanna County, Va., and a volume containing his farm and legal records. With the papers are material relating to the Nelson family. The collection also contains a shipping register for the canal-boat "Rivanna" on the James between Columbia and Richmond, a physicians's account book, 1862, partially obscured with later recipes, and a plat map of Columbia, ca. 1945.
